EcoCar Solaire aims to use innovative and climate-friendly technology to transform the artfully decorated cars Rapides – a landmark of Dakar – into solar-powered, environmentally friendly means of transport.
In order to finance these, a crowdfunding is organised in the form of an art exhibition.
The exhibition presents works and visions of the artist and architect Mandu dos Santos Pinto on urban Africa from 1995 to the present day. From another perspective, his art brings the viewer closer to his vision of modern Africa through urban heritage, innovative urban projects with social transformations, and visionary architectural designs.
